Terminal 1

Terminal 1 was opened in April 2000, and at first had 69 gates (in Concourse C). Before Concourse D opened, All Terminal 1 Flights departed from Concourse C. Since Spring 2016, all flights from T1 depart from Concourse D, which has 19 aircraft stands and a capacity of 18 million people per year. Even though the capacity is quite lower than for the previously-operated Concourse C, Concourse D is more modern and highly-developed. All airlines except Emirates, Qantas, Flydubai, low cost carriers, and some Iranian airlines operate out of Terminal 1.

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 opened in May 1998. It is truly a low-cost terminal at Dubai Airport, and its main carrier is FlyDubai. Besides low-cost carriers, there are many Iranian and some other airlines operating from T2. There are 37 aircraft stands for Terminal 2, however there are no jet bridges in this terminal at all.

Terminal 3

Terminal 3 opened in October 2008 and is the world's largest airport terminal. Before, Terminal 3 was used exclusively by Emirates, but now Terminal 3 is used by Qantas and Emirates. It is a terminal connected to Satellites A and B. Satellite A is suitable only for Airbus A380 flights. In total, Terminal 3 has 99 aircraft stands.
