1.Bayterek Tower
Bayterek Tower is the main sight in Astana . It is also the symbol of Astana. You have to pay only $4 to go up and you have a 360-degree view of the brand new district of Astana.
2.Khan-Shatyr
Khan-Shatyr is a big, giant trade center located in Astana. It's the biggest and tallest tent structure in the world. It is counted as one of the skyscrapers in Astana. Its height is 100 meters. Inside on the top floor, there is an artificial beach located. The sand is brought from Maldives.
3.Palace of Peace and Reconciliation (pyramide)
Hvae a look inside the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. It's located at the new south part of the right embankment of Esil river in Astana.
4.Ak-Orda Palace
You are not allowed in, but you still can see how Presidential palace in Kazakhstan looks like from the distance. It's located quite close to Bayterek, at Esil District in Astana.
5.Astana Opera
Do you like opera? If you do, then try out the performances in Astana Opera. But let me warn you that the tickets there are quite expensive.
6.Hazrat-Sultan Mosque
One of the most beautiful mosques in the world, Hazrat Sultan, is located in Astana, at the right embankment of Esil river, opposite to the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. It is quite huge, and it was opened to the public in 2012.
7.Nur-Astana Mosque
Another beautiful mosque in Astana, but this one is located closer to Bayterek, at Esil District, left embankment of Astana. This mosque was built earlier than Hazrat-Sultan, it was built in 2007. It is smaller than Hazrat-Sultan, but still you should have a look inside it!
8.National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Here's one of the most important must-see places in Astana. This museum gives you the opportunity to get closer to the Kazakh Culture and see and understand it better. This museum is huge, so allow yourself at least 1,5 hours to see it.
