Beijing Capital Airport




Beijing Capital Airport - is the busiest airport in China and 2nd busiest in the world since 2010. It serves Beijing, China and it's located about 30km NE from Central Beijing. In 2015, airport handled 90,1 million passengers, which is a 4.4% growth from the previous year. Beijing Capital Airport was opened in 1958.

Terminal 1




Terminal 1 was opened in 1980, and has 16 gates. It was closed for renovation between 1999 and 2004, and now operates only for domestic flights.

Terminal 2




Terminal 2 opened in November 1999, in order to replace Terminal 1 while it was under renovation. Before Terminal 3 opened, Terminal 2 handled majority of domestic and all international flights. Today, Terminal 2 is home for China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, China Eastern, and for Skyteam alliance members. Prominent airlines such as Aeroflot, Air Astana, Air France, Azerbaijan Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Garuda Indonesia, KLM, Korean Air, Ukraine International, Uzbekistan Airways, Vietnam Airlines, and others operate out of Terminal 2.

Terminal 3




Terminal 3 was opened at first in February 2008, and is currently the 2nd largest airport terminal building in the world with a total floor area of 986,000 meters squared. Terminal 3 mostly serves Air China, Star Alliance and One World alliance carriers, but also it serves some other international and domestic carriers.
